AI website and app examples: what a brief turns into

We're a new studio, and we won't fill this page with mockups dressed up as client work. Instead, here is what each kind of brief produces: the files, the preview and the checks. The best example is your own: write a brief and get a free mockup of it before you pay.

Four briefs and what they become

Each brief below follows the order form: a name, what it does, who it's for and the must-haves. The businesses are made up; the deliverables are exactly what that build type produces.

Website · $49

A launch page for an app

Name: TidewiseWhat it does: Landing page for a tide-times app for sea swimmers: what it does, three features, an FAQ and a Join the waitlist email link.Who it's for: Open-water swimmers.Must-haves: hero, features, FAQ, waitlist link.

What you get: A multi-section site as index.html, style.css, an optional script.js and an assets/ folder of generated illustrations. It goes live on a vaicompany.com link with 30 days of hosting included.

Mobile app · $99

A running log app

Name: Pace NotesWhat it does: Add a run (distance, time, how it felt), see this week's total and a streak counter.Who it's for: Casual runners training for a first 10K.Must-haves: add-run screen, weekly summary, streak.

What you get: An Expo project in TypeScript (App.tsx and screens) that you open on your phone by scanning a QR code with Expo Go. The first version keeps runs while the app is open; saving them permanently is a next step for a developer. More on mobile builds.

API · $49

A home for a shipping-rates API

Name: Parcelpoint APIWhat it does: Explains our shipping-rates API: what it does, example requests and responses, plans, and how to ask for a key.Who it's for: Developers at small online shops.Must-haves: overview, quick start, endpoint reference, contact.

What you get: A website that documents the API and shows developers how to start. You bring the API itself: running it isn't part of the build.

AI product · $79

The front end for an AI writing tool

Name: DraftlyWhat it does: Website and front end for a tool that turns meeting notes into follow-up emails: landing page, a screen to paste notes, pricing.Who it's for: Freelancers and small agencies.Must-haves: hero, how it works, notes screen, pricing.

What you get: The marketing site and the product screens, shaped around the use case. Connecting them to your AI model or API is yours to do; running the model isn't included.

Running a local business? The small-business page has example briefs for restaurants, salons, consultants, clinics and portfolios.

What you can check on every build

  • It runs. A website is a live link you can open on any device; a mobile app opens on your phone.
  • It was tested in a browser. Before you see a website, it's loaded at phone, tablet and desktop widths and the defects found are fixed.
  • Its colours are readable. Palettes are measured against the WCAG AA contrast ratio before any code is written.
  • The source is complete. You download every file, plus a written record of what each specialist decided.

Why there are no screenshots here yet

Sites the studio builds belong to the customers who ordered them, and we only show them with permission. Until then, a described example is more honest than a polished picture of something nobody ordered. If you'd like your build featured, tell us through the contact page.

Questions

Are these real client projects?

No. They are illustrative briefs for fictional products, written to show what each kind of build produces. Real customer builds will only appear here with the customer's permission.

Can I see a real example before paying?

Yes, and it's yours: write a brief and get a free mockup preview made from it, with no card needed. It's the most useful example there is, because it's your project.

What does the code look like?

Websites are plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with an assets folder. Mobile apps are a React Native project using Expo, in TypeScript. Both are standard formats any developer can open.
